Message from the Workshop Organizers
On behalf of the Organizing Committee and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, we are pleased to announce SC2: US-India Smart and Connected Communities Workshop, to be held on June 9-11, 2016 in New Delhi, one of India's most historic and culturally rich cities.
The three-day workshop will bring together top researchers in India and the US to brainstorm and identify potential areas of Indo-US research collaboration in the areas of Smart Cities, 5G Wireless, Big Data, and IOT with applications to smart healthcare, smart energy, and disaster response.
The SC2 Workshop to be held at IIT Delhi is being organized by Prof. Huzur Saran (IIT Delhi), Prof. Uday Desai and Dr. Kiran Kuchi (IIT Hyderabad), in collaboration with US organizers Prof. Sajal Das (Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla) and Prof. Chenyang Lu (Washington University in St. Louis).
The SC2 Workshop is sponsored by the Department of Electronics and Information Technolgy (DieTy), India and the Division of Computer and Network Systems of the US National Science foundation (NSF).
